1. How to add a "cheat day" to your dieting week. Before I explain how to do this let me share with you why it is a must. When you cut down your calorie intake too long hormones in your body (especially one called leptin) read this as a threat and tell the brain that for some reason you are not eating enough food

The brain does not know you are voluntarily cutting back so it goes into survival mode and slams the brakes on your metabolism so you don't burn up all of your stored energy (i.e. FAT). This is obviously a problem with traditional dieting. But there is a fun way to overcome this that has been backed up by a ton of research and thousands of real life examples and that way is to regularly cheat on your diet.
By following a strict diet for 6 days and then taking day 7 off to eat all your favorite foods (yep, pizza, burgers, ice cream...) you reset your metabolism and burn fat faster than your body can make new fat.
2. Cut your exercise time in half. Exercise is great for losing fat but you can boost your fat burning metabolism and burn fat for hours after you are done exercising by varying the pace or effort level during your workout. Simply move back and forth between periods of maximum exertion (really huffing and puffing) and periods of rest. By doing this you can get better fat burning results in just 20 minutes.
